All this time
The Sun never says to the Earth,
“You owe me.”
With a love like that,
It lights the whole sky.”– Hafiz
“And the sun and the moon sometimes argue over who will tuck me in at night. If you think I am having more fun than anyone on this planet, you are absolutely correct.”– Hafiz
“The most beautiful moments always seemed to accelerate and slip beyond one’s grasp just when you want to hold onto them for as long as possible.” — E.A. Bucchianeri
When we experience moments like this……
Not at beautiful beach, quiet wilderness, or lush meadows but at a busy market place. Movie theaters and coffee shops were packed with people, entertaining them. Yet there was something very special taking place outside. I was among some fortunate ones enjoying it.
I knew it doesn’t happen every day.
“ Look at this sunset it’s beautiful, neh? This sunset exists. Tomorrow does not exist. There is only now. Please look. It is so beautiful and it will never happen ever again, never, not this sunset, never in all infinity. Lose yourself in it, make yourself one with nature and do not worry about karma, yours, mine, or that of the village.” — James Clavel
“The earth laughs in flowers.” ~ E.E. Cummings
First shower of spring and earthy smell of wet soil were permeating the surroundings in my garden.
I saw this lovely rose, the only rose in the garden. Covered with raindrops, it looked pure and serene. Breathing a new life, it was welcoming spring.
Spring, season of hope and new beginnings.
“You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming. ” — Pablo Neruda
When I look at a sunset…I don’t find myself saying, ‘Soften the orange a litle more on the right hand corner, and put a bit more purple along the base, and use a little more pink in the cloud color…’ I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch it with awe as it unfolds. — Carl R. Rogers
A magical evening when sky was burning with warm radiance of luminous sunset.
It was an experience for just a few special moments. I knew they will pass quickly as they always do. Moving clouds were making the glow from the sun sway in and out them, coloring them in shades of orange and yellow.
A breathtaking performance to appreciate!
I sat there in awe and gratitude hoping for another masterpiece the next day.
Pluck not the wayside flower; It is the traveler’s dower. — William Allingham
An exquisite world within!
Tucked within the folds of delicate petals, flowers have an alluring world of their own.
A little sweet. A little fragrant.
Butterflies, bees, and humming birds love to visit them, and enjoy their nectar. It’s a delicious haven for them.
Some of us stop to peek in their world just to capture their beauty. At times, we wonder about this graceful creation of nature.
Wrapped in several layers of elegance, it is colorful, delicate, and heartwarming.
Give me odorous at sunrise a garden of beautiful flowers where I can walk undisturbed. — Walt Whitman
Clusters of jasmine buds were waiting patiently to bloom.
Beautiful pink buds.
I could imagine their lovely fragrance at night. Sweet and intoxicating! But at the moment, they were happy swaying in the breeze under the California sunshine. Looking stunning and cheerful.
I couldn’t leave without capturing these beauties. It was a little playful when they were in constant motion. But I was determined to do my best to bring a piece of garden with me.
A treat to enjoy later.
